The choice of subject is justified by the importance of indexing in information retrieval and the study of a system that contributes to achieving the institution's activities herein analyzed. To this end, the research objectives sought to analyze the indexing of documents on the System Tracking Documents and Processes – SADP Electoral Justice of the Protocol Division of the Regional Electoral Court of Paraiba - TRE-PB in order to verify the identification of how the terms are assigned to each document during registration; the importance of the information retrieval system for user satisfaction index in view of the TRE- PB, well as the realization of indexing in the organization under study.
