Abordagens temáticas em Arquivologia: uma análise a partir das monografias dos cursos de Arquivologia da Universidade Federal da Paraíba e Universidade Estadual da Paraíba

The paper analyzes the Completion of Course Works in the Archival Science Course of two universities: the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB and of the State University of Paraíba - UEPB. It verifies which themes were most researched and the ones that were less researched by students of each institution. Also, it analyzes and collects data by means of a documental research, as well as by means of the websites of the mentioned universities. The paper is not only about the research about the WCCs of the universities, but also brings a brief historic of the two courses. They were identified points that could bring reflections about the qualities of the CCWs in UFPB and in UEPB. After the data analysis, it was noted that it is necessary the production of papers about Information Technology by students of the UFPB. On the other hand, there is an elevated number of works about Management of Information Unit. In relation to the UEPB, there were analyzed the themes of each CCW and it was identified that Management of Documents as well as the Archives presented a relevant prominence. The other themes had very inferior results.
