From there on, methods of testament have been used by the professionals of the field, amongst them the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children) and others that aim to develop language, socialization and bring independence for a better quality of life of the autistic individuals beyond these methods we can also find the music therapy that gathers the autist with perceptive and social processes. These procedures are interconnected to the neuronic stimuli that are responsible for the reception and interception of these sound stimuli. In the internship field we can contemplate from upchose the great benefits of these wonderful art of sounds together with the autists. The research took place at FUNAD, observing and interview the music teacher of autistic children. A partir da contribuição de diversos pesquisadores podemos ter uma visão diferente sobre o autismo, abrindo aos pais e educadores oportunidades para o progresso das habilidades de seus filhos e alunos. Ainda não existem estudos que comprovem as reais causas do TEA (Transtorno do Espectro Autista) porém a busca pela resposta é incessante. No entanto, para que haja um bom desenvolvimento destas crianças, faz-se necessário que sejam primeiramente diagnosticadas e para isto os profissionais contam com a ajuda do DSM (Manual Diagnóstico e Estatístico de Transtornos Mentais). A partir de então, métodos de tratamentos vem sendo utilizados pelos profissionais da área, entre eles o PECS (Sistema de Comunicação por Troca de Figuras), ABA (Análise Comportamental Aplicada), TEACCH (Tratamento e Educação para Autistas e Crianças com Déficits Relacionados com a Comunicação), entre outros, que visam desenvolver a linguagem, socialização e levar independência para uma melhor qualidade de vida dos indivíduos autistas. Além destes métodos encontra-se também a musicoterapia que aproxima o autista de estímulos sonoros perceptivos e cognitivos, além de ativar processos afetivos e sociais. Estes procedimentos estão interligados aos estímulos neuronais que são responsáveis pela capitação e intervenção destes estímulos sonoros. No campo de estágio podemos contemplar de perto os grandes benefícios desta maravilhosa arte dos sons junto aos autistas. A pesquisa ocorreu na FUNAD, observando e entrevistando o professor de música de crianças autistas.
