Desempenho de crianças em escalas de comportamento agressivo e emoção

This study aimed to analyze the performance of children in aggressive behavior and emotions scales. It is characterized as a descriptive research with data collection. Attended by 24 students from the first grade of elementary school to a public school in the city of João Pessoa, both sexes (58.3% 14 girls, 10 boys 41.7%). Ages ranged between 6 and 8 years. For Aggression Scale and Peer Victimization (EVAP) which is an instrument of self reporting developed to investigate aggression among peers in the school context data collection was used. The analysis of facial expressions was performed by using the Test of Emotion Comprehension (TEC), and to see how children recognize facial expressions in bullying we used the instrument called Facial Expression Recognition test Bullying Situations: REF-B. The results showed no significant correlation between the compression test of the emotions and the scale of aggression and victimization among peers, but directed to the hypothesis. Two children were identified as aggr essors, three as victims and as an aggressor / victim. All children were positive for the emotions compression test. And related to emotion joy to situation where the offender showed aggressive behavior and the victims identified the negative emotions of sadness and fear more often. We discuss extensions of the study and wide dissemination and planning in our educational environment of knowledge about the emotional development in children from schools mainly the early grades.
