We support them in the didactic resources of the State School of Elementary and Secondary Education Mr Levi Olimpio Ferreira. Our research also aims to answer the following questions: What contributions GeoGebra Dynamic Geometry software can bring to the teaching and learning of trigonometry, the GeoGebra software allows the student to understand the relationships and properties of trigonometry, and what strategies students use to learn trigonometry through the software? To that end, we developed and implemented a chapter of investigative activities. The methodological intervention was performed with second graders to high school in a public school in the town of Bentley, PB. We take as the theoretical basis of mathematical didactics, adopting the concepts of Borba and Penteado (2007), Valente (1999), and Assi Bezerra (2010) and Zulatto (2002, 2007) regarding the use of Information Technology (IT) in classroom mathematics. To prepare the investigative activities, we adopt the views of Bridge, Brocardus and Oliveira (2005) and Ernest (1996).","abstract_html":"This paper aims to show the importance of information technology in education as well as analyze the potential and limitations of the software GeoGebra in teaching and learning of trigonometry.
