With the ANTAQ data about Brazilian harbors we developed three DEA models: the first model was called Physical Model, used one input (the total extension of pier in meters) and two outputs (the total movement of ships and then total capacity of ship load in ton), between 2002 and 2004, considering 31 harbors in a total of 93 DMU s. The second model, called Financial, considering data related to 5 harbors in different periods, in a total of 17 DMU s. For this model, were considered as input the total of money invested in R$ and as output we used the total and liquid incomes, both in R$. In the third model, called Physical-Financial, we mixture the previous models and used data related to 5 harbors in different periods, in a total of 17 DMU s, similar to Financial model. We used as input 2 variables (the total extension of pier in meters and the total of money invested in R$) and as output 4 variables (the total movement of ships, the total capacity of ship load in ton, the total and liquid incomes, both in R$). For all models, we used DEA BCC model for output orientation and SIAD software (Sistema Integrado de Apoio a Decisão). The most important results showed that Areia Branca harbor, expert in salt transportation was the most efficient. For the Physical-Financial model, Belém 1999 e 2001 were considered the most efficient.
