Initially we accomplished a historical abbreviation that is going of the \" invisible \" participation of the ports in the history of the civilization, opening of the ports and to the end of the state monopoly with the extinction of Portobrás in 1990. To proceed, we presented the changes operated by the Law no. 8630/93, the world scenery, the immense open possibility for the new structures the organization and the politics and strategies to provide a road for the sustentability of the port activities in the State of Rio de Janeiro in an efficient way and with competence.
