The impossibility or lack of options when treating certain residues and the desire to eliminate risky environmental liabilities leads to the selection between diverse techniques. Among them, the co-processing in cement kilns distinguishes itself as an important resource to be utilized by the industries which produce such residues. To demonstrate that the activity of co-processing of industrial waste in cement kilns, may not influence atmospheric emissions of pollutants increased by NOx, SO2, CO, THC and MP, it has been proposed a system of waste management for this activity, beginning with the residue acceptance in the generator, reception at the factory, passing through the kiln injection stages, the monitoring and evaluation of the results of atmospheric emissions. Tests with injection of waste in the system of cement factories kiln under study were also made in order to observe the behavior of emissions of pollutants mentioned. The results led to the following considerations: The implementation or development of a Waste Management System in the activity of co-processing in clinker kiln, may constitute an important management tool for cement industries which co-process waste reducing and / or eliminating emissions increased as a result of that activity. The analysis of the results obtained in the five tests made, linked to the other information available, showed no significant changes in levels of atmospheric emissions for all the other pollutants cited that could be associated with the use of waste.
