The present work aims to understand how he confronted this problem in the scope of his philosophical writing. The thesis deals with this theme through three perspectives which give structure to the author's work: the way language andwriting happen; the relation between writing and epistemological critique, as well as in his presentation of the aesthetic concept of allegory; and, finally, the theme of philosophical writing in its connection with politics. The discussion on this connection is based on the relationship that Benjamin established with the literary experiments present in the historical vanguards of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries through his own remarkably experimental writing.
