Blockchain technology is responsible for the existence of distributed networks, in which NFTs are developed. Such networks are much more secure against fraud, tampering and data loss than traditional centralized networks, since information is recorded on all computers that are part of the network and not just on a server. This entire technological context favors the creation of NFTs, which are generated based on the technical standard of smart contracts ERC-721, allowing the production of unique and irreplaceable tokens. Non-fungible tokens have shown ample potential to represent any real-world or virtual-world item and have gained wide acceptance in the artwork and music market. This work will analyze how the registration of musical works through NFTs is presented nowadays and if this alternative is safe and effective so that copyright and fair remuneration of artists are guaranteed for their work within the scope of the Brazilian legal system.","abstract_html":"The present work refers to the registration of musical works through Non-Fungible Token, in Brazil.
