Influência do uso das forças federais nas eleições de 2020: estudo de caso na cidade de aroeiras do Itaim/PI

The interference of federal forces in municipal elections is a topic of growing concern in the Brazilian political landscape. This study investigated the impact of the use of federal forces in the 2020 electoral process, focusing on the municipality of Aroeiras do Itaim/PI. The present work seeks to analyze how the presence of federal forces affected the electoral process in Aroeiras do Itaim/PI during the 2020 elections. The study was based on a comprehensive literature review on the concept of Democracy, interventions of federal forces in electoral processes through Voting and Counting Assurance operations, and a case study to provide a solid context. The presence of federal forces in Aroeiras do Itaim/PI had a significant impact on the electoral dynamics, influencing voter participation, candidate behavior, and public perception of the integrity of the process. This study highlights the complexity of the relationships between federal forces and local elections, emphasizing the need for clearer and more transparent regulations to ensure fair and impartial elections.
