Criança em situação de vulnerabilidade social: desafios do educador social

The objective of this monographic essay is, from a brief literature review, punctuate issues related to some challenges encountered by the social educator in contact with children in situations of social vulnerability. some themes were addressed, such as: social pedagogy as a transformation tool Social; the Child and Adolescent in the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA) and the Federal Constitution of 1988; Children at social risk; The intra-family violence, as well as succinct scores on childhood sociology, culminating in a debate about the social educator and his pedagogical practice. For conceptualizations, we highlight authors such as Antoni Petrus, Jaume Trilla in Profissão Educador Social, in addition to Paulo Freire and Manuel Sarmento. We consider that there are many challenges for the Social Educator facing the unpredictability of socio-educational practice since it is necessary in this in tune with diversity and local culture
