In the first chapter, part of the trajectory of cultural public policies in the country is reconstituted. With the aim of highlighting some of the possibilities for museums, the chapter discusses the use of incentive law, currently available edicts and other initiatives which depend on the active participation of the institution. The second chapter explores museum management, which through involvement and knowledge of public power dispositions, plays a fundamental role in the administration of the museum with regards to issues and completion of new projects.
