Study was carried out through qualitatively approached case study. I have cared to eight HIV positive clients on hospital, clinic and home level on nursing terms, according to Nancy Roper's theoric and philosophic postulates. I have verified, among the aspects, that the use of the model allows a holistic and individualized approach to client, as well as make clear the need of participation of the individual and of a HIV positive client, starting with his way of life, puts into evidence dicotomies as yet unsolved by the nursing.
