Percepção dos deficientes visuais totais sobre os sujeitos da enfermagem

The aim of this study was the perception the total visually handicapped have of the nursing subject (nursing team). It had its origin when I conducted the historic of the nursing data collecting interview. I was then able to notice that these clients could perceive the nursing subject attributing to them a meaning despite the absence of the visual resource. This qualitative research, based on phenomenology and using as a reference Merleau-Ponty's thoughts, aims to understand the perception that the total visually handicapped have of the nursing subject. This perception deals with the body as a vehicle of the task of nursing, as well as determining behaviors and serving as a communication link through voice and touch.
