Initially, a theoretical basis related to this kind of problem is presented. The analyses, founded in a probabilistic theory, were performed considering 5 sets of barge/structure in 2 headings and 15 sea states. The results from a flexible barge analysis and from a rigid barge analysis were compared. Also the critic sea state mean period was determined.
