Análise estrutural de dutos submarinos durante a operação de lançamento
Abstract
dc:description.abstractIn this work, the structural problem involved in the submarine pipelaying operation is studied. A finite element formulation is presented for the dynamic and estatic nonlinear three-dimensional analysis of submarine pipelaying, considering many specific characteristics of this structure, including the deduction or the element matrices. The influence or weight, upthrust, and tension applyed by the tension machine on the pipeline behavior are studied. The theory adopted and the calculation of current and wave forces are also presented. The numerical methods for the solution of the problem and the corresponding algorithms implemented in the developed programs for the static and dynamic studies are fully described. Many cases or laying underwater pipelines subjected to their own weight, upthrust, imposed displacements and wave and current forces are analyzed. Results obtained are compared to already existing others. The influence of tension, stinger curvature and spring coefficients of the ocean floor are also studied.
