The values of DL were calculated under different flow conditions of the Paraíba do Sul river and also in the reach Santa Cecília Pumping Station - Guandu Water Treatment Plant, where many long-term experiments with fluorescent tracers were carried out. In the same river a short-term experiment was conducted to experimentally determine the transversal diffusion coefficient.
