Consideração de geometria curva na análise p-adaptativa do MEC para potencial

This work aims to develop numerical procedures to consider curve geometries in the BEM p-adaptive analysis for potential problems, using hierarquical interpolation functions. The integration scheme adopted employs cubic transformation of variables and a selective choice of the number of integration points. Problems governed by the Laplace Equation are analized and curve boundary elements are employed to discretize boundary geometry. A discussion concerning accuracy, efficiency and best position of extreme source points is presented.
