Modelagem hidrológica unidimensional para um local da Amazônia

It is presented an unidimensional model to evaluate the water balance based on an evapotranspiration model developed by SHUTTLEWORTH (1988) and the generalization of Darcy’s equation for the water flux in an unsaturated soil. The parameters of the model have a physical meaning and can be determined in field investigations. The model was used to simulate the Reserva Ducke’s water balance in its actual condition, covered by the forest. This model was develop to evaluate, in the future, the effects of deforestation, since others techniques have failed, such as the statistical analysis of the Amazonian streamflow.
