Two truncating schemes are proposed, named Intermediate and Mixed, which permit control over errors originated from truncation, being therefore possible to keep such errors at an acceptable level for engineering purposes. Storage area and CPU time economy are remarkable, making the procedure developed worthwile to be implemented.
