Estimativa de onda de cheia proveniente de ruptura hipotética de barragem e sua propagação

This work presents an evaluation of a critical situation as a consequence of a dam break. There is a structure failure with a breach formation and a downstream outflow routing. This evaluation determines discharges, water levels and travel times in each fixed cross section of the river. The downstream routing is carried out by two different methods. A hypothetical failure of Três Marias dam in São Francisco river is studied and the final results are presented.
