An overlay design procedure for flexible and semi-rigid pavements is presented. It is based on models developed from the Theory of Elasticity, either existing solutions for linear elasticity or from non-linear elasticity. The computer program TECNAPAV used for pavement management system was extended in order to take into account loads heavier than the standard 80kN-axle load of highway vehicles, and to consider any number of layers in the pavement structure.
