Emphasis is given to the rotatory inertia and the giroscopic moment. A simplified analysis is first made of a model with two degrees of freedom. Then, a continuous cantileveredsystem is simulated through a differential equation. The disc is considered as a boundary condition. Finally a last continuous model considers the disc in the differential equation, with its inertial and giroscopic effects.
