Estocagem por estratificação térmica de líquido em reservatório

Storage of energy using the thermal stratification of a liquid in a tank, is a present theme of research and deve lopment, because i ts enormous applicability; Considering the energy conservation equations, it is proposed a transient one-dimensional semi-empirical model to the storage system, describing the temperature profile history of.the liquid and the vessel wall, during the normal operating conditions (charging, discharging and static node). The theoretical results are compared to the existing experimental data. Also, the influence of the height to diameter ratio (H/D) of the vessel on the exergy efficiency is studied.
