A Dirac's Delta stimulus was introduced at the inlet of two aeration tanks and a secondary sedimentation basin of a conventional activated sludge sewage treatment plant. Amidorhodamine G Extra and Bromine-82 were used as fluorescent and radioactive tracers. The hydrodynamic behaviour of both units were analysed through the comparison of experimental response curves with well known models.
