Análise dinâmica linear de cascas axissimétricas com um elemento finito curvo
Abstract
dc:description.abstractLinear dynamic analysis based on the theories of LOVE and FLÜGGE is presented for axisymmetric thin shells under the action of arbitrary loads including temperature effects. The general equilibrium equations and the corresponding boundary conditions are obtained from the Principle of Virtual work. To determine the aproximate solution one applies the Finite Element Method using a curved element with three and four degrees of freedom per node. The linear dynamic response is obtained by the Modal Superposition Method supposing a viscous damping by means of percentage of the criticai damping. The theory is applied in some numerical examples and the results are compared to those presented by other authors. The Automatic Program developed in FORTRAN-IV is also presented.
