O método de Riemann na programação de ondas planas em meios elásticos inomogêneos

The governing equations for one-dimensional displacement and stress waves in non-homogeneous elastic media are derived. The use of Riemann-Green's method is suggested and applied to the initial value problem. Upon numerical solution of the resulting integral equations, the Riemann function for smooth and sectionally-smooth media is constructed, several examples of materials and wave shapes being shown. The possible inclusion of boundary conditions is considered and the solution for semi-infinite media is obtained.
