Abstract

Theoretical diffusive model is developed in order to determine the transient surface temperature on plates exposed to eletromagnetic radiation. The plates' surface temperature response time is analised by means at its physical, geometrical and emissive spectral properties. The analytical results are shown to accurately represent the experimental data that was obtained in a specially built solar energy absorving chamber.
