Evaporação obtida em evaporímetros em forma de U e vertical comparada com a evaporação estimada pela Equação de Penman

The purpose of this study was firstly to analyse evaporation by the use of U shaped and vertical evaporimeters which are being developed in the laboratories of Hidraulic Resources and Thermofluid-dynamics of COPPE-UFRJ by Cirus Macedo Hackenberg & Paulo Canedo de Magalhães, and secondly to test the Penman modified equation to avaluate hourly evaporation. The evaporation data obtained from the U shaped evaporimeter exposed to the sun, was analysed and also compared to the values supplied by the Penman equation. The results were good. The evaporation data obtained from the vertical evaporimeter was compared to the data obtained from the U shaped evaporimeter which had been exposed to the sun. Results obtained by hourly comparisons were not good. The hourly evaporation data supplied by the modified Penman equation were compared to both the data obtained by the U shaped evaporimeter exposed to the sun and the sine equation. Good results were obtained.
