Determinação da fadiga em estruturas metálicas soldadas submetidas a solicitações dinâmicas
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis work presents a procedure to the dynarnic analysis for deterrnination of fatigue damage occurring in welded tubular joints of steel structures submited to deterministic and random loading, by the Finite Element Method. The deterministic approach furnishes the steady-state response, in the frequency dornain, by the Modal Superposition Method. For high exciting frequencies the Direct Method in the frequency domain is applied. The randon analysis furnishes the response of linear systems subjected to ergodic excitations, associated with Gaussian processes. The total fatigue damage is determined by the Miner's rule, applying the Stress Concentration Factors (SCF) for the hot-spot stress determination. A computer program has been developed, using FORTRAN language and implemented in the Burroughs 6700. This program allows the determination of linear systems response to dynamic loading and the fatigue damage of welded tubular joints.
