Estudo aerodinâmico de uma cúpula hemisférica apoiada sobre o solo

The purpose of the present work is to provide data for the pressure field over the surface of a hemispherical dome, which rests on the ground. The dome has a hole on the top and is placed into a wind current vii th veloci ty varying over the cross section of the wind tunnel. A device to introduce a velocity gradient in the wind profile has been developed. This research has an application in the design of the hemispherical done of the Hotel Tropical de Manaus.
