Puncionamento de lajes protendidas

In this work it is presented the results of punching tests in three plat slabs. These slabs were supported on a central column and had no shear reinforcement. The parameters varied in them were the prestress applied, the compressive strenght of the concrete and the dimensions of the cross-section of the column. The puching failure loads obtained in the tests are compared with predicted values found from the formulas given by the NB-1/78, ACI/77 and CEB-FIP codes of practice.
