Moluscos encontrados no Sambaqui de Camboinhas, Itaipu, Niterói, Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil

Information is given on the geology, ecology, and archeology of the region of the Sambaqui de Camboinhas, Itaipu, Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. The conchological characterization of the mollusk species found in the site is given, as well as their utilization, and geological and geographical distribution. Represented on the site are three species of marine gastropods, one of terrestrial gastropod, and ten of marine bivalves.
