Tensões locais em vigas de rolamento de instalações siderúrgicas

This work deals with the determination of local stress in steel crane runway girders of mill instalations. Herein an state of the art is presented about the execution details which can cause fadigue cracks due to the local effects in the upper part of the crane runway girders. A computer program is also presented which is based on the theory of folded plates. This procedure allows the determination of the local stresses accurately without the limitations of the previously presented methods.
