In order to study brazilian caddisflies it would have, obviously, to proceed a preliminary and a large bibliographical research. In the present essay of about fifteen estimated genera from Ciganos' Dam, nine could be identified with certainty and are given, of them, descriptions and illustrations of the larvae and, when found, of the pupae and cases.
