Influência da injeção de argamassa nos condutos das armaduras das peças de concreto protendido

Verifying the influence of the injection of mortar in the ducts of the tendons of prestressed concrete beams, with the purpose of finding out the behavior of structures both in service and at the point of rupture. Eight simple span beams of double T section were tested to the point of rupture, but only four of those had some morter injected in the ducts of their prestressed tendons. Besides injection in the duct, some initial tension applied on prestressed tendons was adopted as a variation parameter. The analysis of results is accomplished through the presentation of comparative diagrams in which the behavior of bounded beams and unbonded beams is related to each other both in service and close to the point of rupture. The reduction of up to 30% as specified by CEB-FIP for the security of unbonded beams against rupture was considered coherent and just, since, during research, a reduction of 20% was observed in one of the pairs of confronted beams,
