Análise de estruturas reticuladas pelo método das matrizes de transferência

The transfer matrices methods concepts in structural analysis are established as well as four automatic programs, in FORTRAN, turned over the framed structures frequently used in civil construction. They were developed for an IBM 1130, 8K, internal memory computer and permit to analyse simple or associated frames of one floor, in the plane or in space, continous beams and beams on continuous linear elastic support. Besides the usual loading condition and uniform temperature change, they allow us to get the influence lines through imposed displacements at joints. This way, these programs are efficient enough in the analysis of archs, helicoidal beams and viaducts transformed in a polygonal form with a great number of bars.
