Análise dinâmica de placas pelo método dos elementos finitos
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe main purpose of the present work is to study the dynamic behavior of plates under specified time-varying loads and moving forces. Initially a brief exposition of the variational formulation concerning the dynamics of thin plates is presented and the finite element method is applied to this formulation. Three types of elements are presented (triangular with 9 degrees of freedon, retangular with 12 degrees of freedon and retangular with 16 degrees of freedon). Numerical results are obtained for free and forced vibrations. An automatic program has also been formulated to allow the determination of the vibration properties of a plate and also the response to time-varying loads and to moving forces (concentrated or distributed). This program was developed for an IBM 1130, 32 K, internal memory.
