Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis work refers to the application of rupture method on designing of bridge slabs. We have studied only the effect of the heavy vehicle of six wheels. We have tested 5 models, being 3 separeted and just supported by the 4 sides, and 2 continuous slabs that have been previously dimensioned, according to the calculated results by numbers obtained by Prof. Polillo, working with straight configurations of rupture. We have compared the test results with that of elastic classic methods and with numbers of rupture method. We have concluded, in all of our tests, by the use of the rupture method (straight configurations) that, besides its comproved safety, it is the more economical.
