Análise de placas circulares sobre base elástica

The subgrade reaction method and that of the rigidity modulus were applied in order to calculate the model foundation plate, built in acrilic and supported on a sandy foundation very carefully mounted. Comparing the theoretical resulta with the ones experimentally reached, we can define, in this case, the applicability of the rigidity modulus method. We are also presenting here the automatic calculation program for Computers (IBM of 8K of capacity), that analyzes the plates of any material set on foundations of any parameter by the above mentioned methods. This program interconnected with two subroutines generalizes the analysis of the problem of most common loads. We also suggest in the Appendix a list of research topics on the subject of the same theme. Due to the pedagogical value of this subject, we are including in this Thesis a translation of the basic literature.
