Chapter II, The Development of the Curriculum and Degree Program, traces the growth of the courses offered as part of the Speech Department until 1947 when the Department of Drama was formed; the degree program as it developed between 1947 and 1963; and the graduate extension program from 1960 to 1963 at the Dallas Theatre Centre. Chapter III, The Production Program, lists the major productions from 1941 until 1963 and describes several productions that received nationwide recognition.
