By using statistical data as a reference point, the study will answer and evaluate six questions concerning the patterns, coincidences, and myths about the plays that appear at state and win. The six questions look at patterns concerning critically acclaimed playwrights advancing over obscure playwrights, repetition of play titles, the genres of the plays, the period of the plays, the cuttings of the plays, and finally, the cast size of the plays.
