International students contributed $41 billion and sponsored 458,290 jobs to the U.S. economy during the 2018-2019 academic year. But despite their substantial contribution to the economy, many international students disclose lower levels of social satisfaction, sense of respect on campus, and sense of belonging. The purpose of this study is to explore psychometric values that bring personhood to international students. Using quantitative multiple regression, this study explores the influence of academic, social, and deeper life interactions between international students and their peers, faculty, and staff on their psychological sense of community.
