dc:description.abstractIn writing this thesis, my purpose is to show how the Democratic Action Party (D.A.P.), a political party based on ideology and non-communal in approach, pursues its constitutional struggle in an environment of communal politics with all its inherent and contrived difficulties, the most serious being racial polarization.
