İnternet ve eposta aktarımının işleyişi ile ilgili gerekli olan bilgilendirmeler yapıldıktan sonra çok kullanıldığı düşünülen, çeşitli eposta istemcilerinde, eposta başlık bilgilerine nasıl ulaşılacağı anlatılmıştır. Konunun daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için bir deneme epostası gönderilmiş ve bu epostanın başlık bilgilerine nasıl ulaşılabileceği ekran görüntüleriyle adım adım anlatılmıştır. Başlık bilgilerinin elde edilmesinden sonra sıra bu bilgilerde yer alan IP adreslerinin soruşturulmasına gelmiştir. İnternetteki çeşitli sitelerden ve EmailTrackerPro isimli programdan eposta başlıkları veya IP adresleri sorgulanmıştır. Çıkan sonuçlar değerlendirilmiş ve daha sonra araştırma sonlandırılmıştır.
