dc:descriptionOBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to elucidate the relationship between work-related musculoskeletal disorder and risk factor(especially, job stress and ergonomic evaluation-REBA) in hospital worker. METHOD: The study subjects were 624 hospital workers. A self-reported questionnaire was used to assess the respondent' job stress, musculoskeletal symptom and general characteristics. Job contents questionnaire of Karasek was used in job stress evaluation. The REBA was used to ergonomic evaluation. RESULT: The musculoskeletal symptom prevalence is 54.8%. In logistic multiple regression, REBA(p<0.01), job stress(p<0.01), sex(p<0.05), age(p<0.05) and type of occupation(p<0.05) influence musculoskeletal disorder. CONCLUSION: The hospital workers exposed many musculoskeletal risk factors. these results indicate that ergonomic evaluation-REBA, job stress, sex, age and type of occupation is associated with musculoskeletal disorder.
