Using qualitative case studies, the research explores how intrapreneurs promote sustainability initiatives and how contextual factors, including sociocultural norms, institutional structures and regulatory environments, shape their decisions and strategies. The findings show that sustainable intrapreneurs act as internal champions who embed sustainability into organisational practices, while navigating barriers such as resistance to change and institutional complexity. This has key implications for understanding sustainable intrapreneurship and supporting sustainability transitions in emerging economies.","abstract_html":"This thesis examines the role of sustainable intrapreneurs in advancing corporate sustainability and sustainability reporting in Indian organisations.
