On the other hand the tests and their results are also important for the advertising of the product to distinguish themselves between other competitors concerning quality features. These tests however ask a high effort of technical knowledge, time and money. This is important particularly for products which can cause a great risk for health and live of the user by for example a wrong construction. In the field of transport (aeroplanes, automobiles or motor-cycles) the thorough check before inauguration of a product and the regular check of the technical facilities during the utilisation concerning the security is as a rule natural or engaging. In the bicycle industry most of the producers omit such checks, although the bicycle comes under the same legislation. A check of the bicycle or its components is definitely practicable because of its low complexity. Previous specialist literature has described how an extensive quality management in the bicycle industry can be established. The required number of parts to be tested to make out a statistically safe assessment of the failure possibility during utilisation is concerning every possible influence a problem. This dissertation suggests a solution at which is made sure by a defined pre-damage, that the worst part possible is the one to be tested.
