Die Organisation der Zahnarztpraxis aus Patientensicht

The dental care is in a phase of radical change. Not only the proper medical treatment but also the the organisation of the dentist's office has become a major interest for the patients. On the one hand this doctor thesis describes the reality of dentist's officeorganisation and on the other hand the requests of the patients concerning possible changes. Based on a questionnaire investigation, 434 persons betweeen 20 and 30 years from 75 different towns in NRW were interviewed selected by chance. Differences between the reality and the desires of the patients are mainly related to the locations of the dentist's office, the time scheduling and the kind of information about possible medical treatment. In general the patients have been satisfied with the circumstances concerning the furnishing of the waiting room and the care at the reception.
